Step 3: Provide Supporting Documentation

In Section IV of the form, write a brief but detailed paragraph explaining:

  • The nominee’s specific contributions
  • How their actions impacted Pi Chi Omega and/or the pest management industry

Note: Nominations without this documentation will not be considered.

Step 4: Submit by the Deadline

All nominations must be received by August 15, 2025.

How the Selection Process Works

Nominations are reviewed by a selection committee made up of at least five individuals, including Pi Chi Omega leadership and Executive Board representation. The committee ensures all eligibility requirements are met and evaluates the significance of the nominee’s contributions. A majority vote (at least 3 of 5) is required to approve each award.

To maintain confidentiality and impartiality, the Board does not vote on award recipients, and selections are kept secret until they are announced at the Pi Chi Omega Annual Membership Meeting at PestWorld.
