At the annual Pi Chi Omega Membership Meeting held during PestWorld on October 21, the organization proudly announced the results of its latest leadership elections—celebrating both new and continuing service from dedicated members.
James Miller, ACE stepped into the role of President, bringing experience and enthusiasm to guide the organization forward. Desiree Straubinger, BCE, CP-FS transitioned into the position of Immediate Past President, continuing her valuable support and leadership on the board.
Two long-standing contributors to Pi Chi Omega, Glen Ramsey, MS, BCE, PCQI and Stephanie Hill, Ph.D. were elected to the board after distinguished service as chairs of the Awards and Scholarship Committees, respectively. Their commitment to the organization's mission and programs has been instrumental in strengthening Pi Chi Omega’s impact.
The membership also recognized Cassie Krejci, Ph.D., BCE for her outstanding service as President as she completed her term as Immediate Past President. In an exciting development, Pi Chi Omega welcomed Cassie back onto the board as Treasurer, where she will continue to apply her leadership and passion for the organization.
In addition, the organization expressed deep gratitude to Larry Treleven (Treasurer), Hamilton Allen, Ph.D. (Director), Jose Santos Portugal, III Ph.D. (Director), and Johnalyn Gordon, Ph.D. (Director) who completed their terms. Their years of dedicated volunteer service have helped advance the goals and stability of the organization.
