Vern Toblan, who was at the helm of Pi Chi Omega as executive director from 2000 until his death in 2014, is this year’s posthumous inductee into Pest Management Professional Magazine’s Industry Hall of Fame. Now in its 20th year, the Hall of Fame recognizes pest professionals from all segments – business owners, researchers, inventors, crusaders and even manufacturer sales reps/association directors like Toblan. In regard to hiring CCA to serve in the capacity of Executive Director, Pi Chi Omega President Kim Kelly-Tunis said, “We feel very fortunate to have CCA as our management company. They bring years of nonprofit management experience, and the Board felt like this team of professionals will enhance Pi Chi Omega’s mission and purpose going forward.”

Toblan will receive a profile in the September issue of PMP magazine, and will be formally inducted into the Hall on Oct. 17 in Seattle, the night before the National Pest Management Association’s PestWorld 2016 convention begins. Additional inductees in the Class of 2016 include longtime Pi Chi Omega members Dr. Vernard Lewis, Dick Sameth and Larry Treleven, each of whom is also profiled in PMP’s September issue.
