Meet the New Pi Chi Omega Executive Staff

Pi Chi Omega is pleased to announce that as of August 1, 2015, the organization will be managed by Cooper Coron & Associates (CCA). CCA was formed in 1994 to provide complete association management services, including: accounting, board relations, membership management and communications, meeting planning, web and media communications, and research and technical writing services to local, state and national organizations. CCA has managed the Virginia Pest Management Association for 21 years and during that time have worked closely with other pest management industry organizations; like NPMA, ESA, ASCPRO and other state pest management associations.

CCA principles, Andrea Coron and Kristin Coron, bring a unique combination of education, skills and experience to Pi Chi Omega, with their overriding priority being to provide excellent customer service to Pi Chi Omega members, while strategically moving the organization toward meeting the goals of the Board. Andrea and Kristin, sisters-in-law for more than 23 years, thrive on working as an interchangeable team. “Managing Pi Chi Omega is an exciting opportunity to apply our 2 decades of association management experience to this dynamic organization that serves a vital role in keeping education at the forefront of the pest control industry”, says Andrea Coron, Pi Chi Omega Executive Director.
Andrea Cooper Coron, President of CCA earned a B.S. in Business Administration and History from the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, VA, and a Master’s in Education from Marymount University in Arlington, VA. Andrea has over 25 years’ experience in nonprofit management and marketing. She has spent the last 21 years as President of CCA specializing in board relations, meeting planning, strategic planning and legislative and regulatory advocacy.

Kristin Coron, Vice President of CCA earned a B.S. in Biology, with a concentration in Education, from the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, VA. Kristin has over 27 years’ experience in membership management, bookkeeping, technology and website coordination, technical writing and document preparation, with a specialization in membership services. Kristin says, “I know that members are the heart of every association. We feel fortunate to already have a great working relationship with many Pi Chi Omega members, and look forward to connecting with more Pi Chi Omega members, so that we can ensure that their needs and priorities are met.”

In regard to hiring CCA to serve in the capacity of Executive Director, Pi Chi Omega President Kim Kelly-Tunis said, “We feel very fortunate to have CCA as our management company. They bring years of nonprofit management experience, and the Board felt like this team of professionals will enhance Pi Chi Omega’s mission and purpose going forward.”
