It’s a new members-only resource where qualified entomologists (think ACEs, BCEs, and entomology-degreed professionals with at least 5 years of pest management experience) volunteer their time to answer questions from Pi Chi Omega members. We’re also looking for Pi Chi Omega members who are interested in serving as an Entomologist on Call. | | The Pi Chi Omega Jr. Entomologist Program is a free educational initiative designed to inspire curiosity about insects and the field of entomology among young learners. Developed by professional entomologists, the program offers downloadable PowerPoint presentations, pre-recorded video sessions, and customizable certificates of completion. The program introduces students to career opportunities in pest management, biology, and public health. Ideal for educators, summer camp leaders, scout troop coordinators, and anyone leading children's programs, this versatile resource can be seamlessly integrated into classrooms, camps, and community centers. By presenting this program, facilitators can ignite a passion for entomology in children and potentially guide them toward future careers in the field.
