Membership in Pi Chi Omega is by invitation only, requiring nomination and endorsement by two current members. See below for the nomination form. Membership categories include the following:
 | Active Membership: |
Active members are those who are graduate entomologists with at least a B.S. degree, or individuals with an M.S. or PhD in the biological or chemical sciences actively engaged in the pest control industry.
| Associate Membership: |
Individuals who are baccalaureate graduates of an accredited college or university in some other discipline other than entomology, actively engaged in the pest control industry, and who have demonstrated continuing service towards the betterment of the pest control industry.
| Honorary Membership: |
Honorary membership is offered to those persons of acknowledged eminence in the pest control or related sciences.
| Student Membership: |
A second semester junior or senior presently enrolled in an entomology or pest control curriculum in a four-year accredited college or university may be nominated for student membership. The student must earn a Bachelor's degree in a normal period of time acceptable to the institution to proceed to active membership.
