It is a great way to get involved, make meaningful connections and really learn the importance of our Fraternity! By the way, all of our Board meetings are open meetings so if you’d like to sit in on the Pest World Board meeting you are welcome!
Pi Chi Omega members are the heart and soul of our organization, and every member brings value to our organization. Please consider getting involved in a leadership position within our Fraternity. The Board always has need for committee members who are critical in giving each committee a well-rounded perspective on developing policies and programs that support our mission. Serving on a committee is also a great way to get your feet wet and learn the ropes before running for a seat on the Board of Directors. Committee service is not a requirement by any means though, so if you are ready to put your name in the hat to be elected to a Director seat, by all means do it.
The Nominations Committee will be presenting a recommended slate of candidates to fill the two seats that will be open during this election cycle. Our Bylaws also allow for nominations to be made from the floor during the membership meeting. So, if you would like to nominate yourself or someone else, please plan to attend the membership meeting on October 25th.
